Ashley and Bill are such a fun couple, and I was so honored to capture their engagement session! They had seen me work at another wedding and the day after getting engaged, reached out to me to check my availability. Because they are currently dating and planning a wedding while long-distance, we had to make sure that Ashley was in town in order to take some engagement photos!

We were supposed to take photos on a Saturday, but then the weather called for pretty much a downpour, so we had scheduled it to Sunday. Then Sunday started snowing (leave it to Upstate NY to have these crazy weather patterns), so we rescheduled it to Monday.

So after rescheduling this engagement session numerous times, it was so exciting to finally see them in a local park in Colonie! Even though it was windy and a little cold (especially for Ashley, used to southern weather 🙂 ), we made the most of it!

My goal as a photographer is to make YOUR personality shine. As I was talking with Ashley and Bill, I could tell that they were clearly in love and were so excited to be there. Whenever I challenged Bill to do something, he was willing to go above and beyond, and it made for a lot of fun photos! Ashley’s joy throughout the whole session was infectious and their goofy personalities were the best! I edited a few extra goofy photos, because I knew that they would love it.

They also wanted to go roller skating, and it made for the most FUN photos!
