Stephanie + Kalan’s wedding was laced with SO many special and tender moments in Rochester! It was such an honor to take photos of them and their special day.

Every moment was infused with meaning. Both Stephanie and Kalan gave gifts to their parents and each other (although both of them had told the other that they wouldn’t do gifts!) Reading each other’s letters left them both in tears, and there was so many moments that were made in honor of Kalan’s mom, who had passed away years ago. They’re such a kind and genuine couple, which was evident from the first time I met them.

Most weddings don’t go 100% the way you want them to, and this one was no exception. The groomsmen got lost getting to the reception, but it wasn’t a big deal because they had added extra cushion in their schedule in case something happened. There weren’t enough donuts, but the company was able to deliver more by the end of the night. Both Stephanie and Kalan took the unplanned events by stride, though, and didn’t let any of the little moments ruin such a wonderful day! Everyone was dancing throughout the night, and we were even able to get a few sunset photos to end the night!
