Anjel, Saratoga brand owner of AnjelFace Makeup, reached out to me to take new and updated photos for her hair and makeup services! She told me that she didn’t want headshots, but wanted more of a branded session. I was over-the-moon to do that for her!

The Process

I started by not-so-quietly internet stalking her online presence to come up with a pre-photoshoot marketing plan. We found things that she could implement before the session to improve during her online presence. We then met to talk about her values and unique value proposition (UVP) that makes her business stand out from other hair and makeup artists in the Saratoga Region. Then I got to work to make sure that I was ready for shoot day!

During the time in-between, we sent messages back and forth about locations and outfit choices.

On the shoot day, my assistant and I arrived early to set up and scope out the location in person. We figured out which locations we would shoot at for which part of the session. We then shot for three hours to get all of the photos she could possibly want and more!

Anjel wanted to show people behind-the-scenes of her process and little things she does for her clients that make a big difference! That involves her commitment to cleanliness, her airbrush technique, and a touch-up kit that she gives each bride for their wedding day to use!

Working with Anjel was a blast and I can’t wait to continue to see her Saratoga brand/business grow. I would recommend her services to any of my brides!
