Being able to take photos for this lovely couple was such a DREAM! It was a humid, 90 degree weather day and the couple and their friends took it like a champ! We were able to take getting ready photos in the couple’s apartment in Troy, New York, and get detail shots of things that are meaningful to them. We did a first look with the bride’s mom, drove over to Mabee Farm Historic Site in Scotia, New York, and did the first look with the groom!
By the time the first look happened, the clouds were starting to threaten us with rain, and once it ended up raining, we were able to get some fun artsy photos! I love how adventurous this couple was!
They had a carnival theme with popcorn, cotton candy, food trucks, corn hole, and other outside games. The toasts were SO meaningful and made me feel even more honored that they chose me as their photographer. You could tell how loved the couple was by their guests, and how many details they put into their wedding day.
The day ended with the most AMAZING sunset and we were able to sneak away for a few minutes to take some photos!
Thank you SO much for hiring me as your wedding photographer! It was such an honor and privilege.
Hugs,
Becca
