If you’ve ever wondered what can be accomplished in just one hour of brand photography for coaches, this post is for you! Today, I’m sharing a behind-the-scenes look at a 1-hour brand photography session for Melisa, the inspiring life coach behind Radiant Life. Her mission? To empower high-achieving women to create passionate and healthy relationships. Our goal for this shoot was to capture her confidence, authenticity, and joy—all in a way that aligns with her life coach branding.
Melisa is a relationship coach passionate about helping women move from anxiety and uncertainty to confidence and security in their love lives. Her brand is empowering, authentic, and joyful, and her work is all about transforming lives through trust and healthy connection. Her colors, tone, and content are designed to feel approachable yet strong, just like her.
The vision for this brand photography session was to give a visual representation of what a secure, confident woman looks like. This means power stances, confident body language, and imagery that speaks to inner strength. Melisa wanted her photos to reflect both her approachable side and her ability to guide women toward transformation. If time allowed, we also planned to capture a few process photos—those candid behind-the-scenes moments that show what it’s like to work with her during coaching sessions.
Even with just one hour together, we were able to create a gallery full of variety for Melisa’s life coach branding needs. Here’s a breakdown of what we accomplished:
In just 60 minutes, Melisa now has a library of cohesive, on-brand images that will carry her across her marketing platforms for months. Here’s a few of my favorites!
Sound like the type of brand photography you’ve been looking for?
More than you think! With intentional planning (like the brand photo plan we created for Melisa), we can capture a variety of looks and concepts in just an hour.
I recommend 1–2 outfits for a 60-minute session. Melisa opted for two looks—one for headshots and one for her “Secure Woman” concept.
Props help tell your story. Think about tools you use every day (laptop, journal, favorite books). For Melisa, we used items that reflect her coaching process.
Absolutely. Even with one hour, you can walk away with a gallery of images perfect for your website, social media, and promotional content.
A 1-hour brand photography session is ideal if you’re launching a new offer, updating your website headshots, or need fresh content for social media without a full-day commitment.
